The IDC in Egypt takes place in Sharm el Sheikh at the Reef Oasis Beach Resort. This resort has a beautiful sandy beach and the house reef is the dive site Temple. The Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort is a beautiful resort that has the house reef Far Garden on its doorstep. The pools in the resorts are perfect for confined water sessions. In winter the pools are even heated. No wonder you get in the water every day during your PADI Instructor Training.

The PADI exam is also often given at the location of Reef Oasis Beach Resort, so how nice is it if you already know the site. Then after the PADI Exam you will enjoy the beautiful reefs at Tiran and Ras Mohammed for the MSDT program. You have a choice of Instructor Specialties: PADI Adaptive Techniques, Deep, Digital Underwater Photography and Video, Dive Against Debris, DPV, Drysuit, Emergency Oxygen Provider, Night, EAN Nitrox, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigator, RNLI Sea Survival, Self Reliant Diving, Shark Conservation, Sidemount Diving, Drift, Equipment, Fish ID, Wreck and Search and Recovery.

Before the Silver or Gold IDC, you will receive a free preparation day on February 4, during which all topics will be examined. Apartment or Hotel?
You can stay in the resorts of Reef Oasis, or you can book an apartment (max 4 persons) or studio (max 2 persons) or other hotel. Economical hotels include Mazar (Sharks Bay), Solymar Naáma Bay, Noria Resort, Oriental Rivoli, Na’ama Inn, Hilton Dreams, Cataract, Kanabesh, Tropicana Jasmine, X-perience Kirozeis Piece Road and Sonesta Club. Luxury hotels are: Ghazala Gardens, El Bostan, Hilton Sharks Bay, Sonesta Beach, Maritim Jolie Ville.
The prices of the apartments/studios are: 25,- euros per person per night for one or two persons, 20,- euros per person per night for three or four persons. This includes gas/light and water (with normal use) with a minimum stay of fourteen days. The apartments also have a swimming pool and sun terrace.
You can book flights through Turkish airlines or Pegasus (with transfer in Turkey). Egypt Air (transfer in Cairo) with 2x 32 kg is also possible. And more and more are flying to Sharm.
